hey, bro. what can i say? i'm a total doucher. i really did want to stop by and see you, but with it being the holidays i was pretty busy with cooking and visiting family and whatnot. the little free time i did have kinda revolved around what my boyfriend was doing since my car isn't running and he's my mode of transportation at the moment. i hate that i wasn't able to see you. D: despite my epic douchery, did you have a good christmas/new years?

Same city, looking for work to pay for college. I recently started getting back into DA because there was a photo contest around here. Frankly, I think some of my work is far above the scopes of the magazine hosting it. The stuff that was in it was not even photoshopped, it was hit with a bubble filter and al that cheap crap. They even managed to screw that up too.

thats pretty sad. well be sure for such thing to be careful and ensure it's not spec work. a lot of times those contests require you to relinquish all rights to your work once submitted. then the company has freedom to use your work as they please.
